I had 4 programs with this message beside them, though three were up to date anyway, plus the Flash Active X I mentioned in my earlier thread.
On fixing that issue, I still had three programs, all apparently up to date, but with that message.
On choosing the Manual Update on one of them, it told me I was up to date (as I had thought I was), and the warning then disappeared from all three programs.
Something not quite right here, I think.
A computer program can do pretty much anything the user doesn't know is impossible for it to do.

The easiest route is probably to reinstall the PSI.
However, more specifically you can try going to Control Panel -> Administration -> Services, and ensuring that "Secunia update Agent" and "PSI Update Agent" are both set to "Started" and "Automatic".
