Hi,
I have PSI 2.0.0.3001.
I can't find a place to test to see if there are any updates available for this version.
How do I find out?
Thanks

Hi Frank, current version is 2.0.0.4003 dated 18-10-2011. I have this version for some weeks now and it works fine. From forum red upper bar click on products on left, scroll down to PSI, click on psi, click on downloads. Then you see last version and you can download from there.

Thanks for the reply.
There are three updates since my version.
Do i need to do each one in sequence or are they cumulative.

Just click this link for the latest version:

ftp://ftp.secunia.com/PSISetup.exe

It will uninstall the old & then install the new. Please bear in mine there is a bug with the latest version.

The Secure Browsing Page (for advanced users) does not populate correctly otherwise it works perfectly.

Thanks Maurice.
Will the .exe that you gave me apply in the future?
That is a lot easier than all of the steps required to get to the Forum then to Products > PSI > Download > and Changelog.
I did document all of those steps but I am reluctant to post it in case it is not exactly correct.

The short answer is yes.

U were not really out of date - all U have done is updated to include interim hotfixes that Secunia have created to fix minor bugs.

If a major upgrade occurs a "balloon" will appear in the Tasktray asking U to upgrade. This "balloon" notification will activate each time U boot the PC until U carry out that action so there is little chance of missing out.

EDIT:

Here are a few shortcuts that U can save to favourites:

The update link & programme change log:

http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal...

The Forum without opening PSI:

http://secunia.com/community/forum/all_threads/?

Once there just click Community Login>insert your user name & password

The FAQ:

http://secunia.com/products/consumer/PSI/faq/

The User Manual:

http://secunia.com/gfx/pdf/Secunia%20PSI%202.0%20-...

U will require a suitable PDF Reader to open it.
