Hello to all. I am brand new to PSI and this forum, so please accept my apology if I'm posting in the wrong area.

As I mentioned I just started using PSI and I do like the program. In looking for an answer, to what I believe is a simple question, I find myself going all over the forum. Simply put....How do I cancel a previous applied ignore rule? I'm using Photoshop Element 7 (a EOL program), which I applied an ignored rule, but now WANT it to show in my scan result. In browsing the forum I also have the same Powerpoint viewer 2003 problem others have mentioned (Have 2007, but scan shows the 2003). I also have an issue with macromedia flash player 7.0? Anyway, the purpose of this Thread is Simply.. [b] "How does one cancel a previously applied ignore rule?" [b].

Open PSI>Dashboard>Configuration>click the Ignore Rule tab

U should see the entry>right click on it & select delete.

EDIT:

If U want help with the other two issues we require this information to give the best advice.

FINDING A FILE PATH

From the DASHBOARD page click on SCAN RESULTS.

1. This will list all your programmes with a + to the left of each one.
2. Click the + sign next to the item that U want help with.
3. This will reveal the path under DETECTED INSTANCES.
4. Below DETECTED INSTANCES you will see You can double click this row for additional information & options>double click it>a box will appear>click TROUBLESHOOT REPORT>Now highlight the information revealed from START to END & copy it (CTRL+C) then post it to the Forum (CTRL+V)

The end result U post to the Forum should look like this:

Thanks Marice, Appreciate the help.

I did see the delete option, but wasn't sure if that meant that it wouldn't show in any scan (deleting this entry from even being scanned). Your answer indicates that we are just deleting it from the ignore list only, It will show up in a scan. GOOD!

As far as my situation with the powerpoint viewer (2003), and the macromedia player, I did check out the info path, because I wanted to know where these program resided.

I'll update the forum when I go down that road.

Thanks again for helping a Newbie out.
