The only Java I have in my control panel are Java TM 6 Update 31 & Java TM 6 Update 31 (64 Bit).
The Java JRE 1.3 is in HP Photo Printing software - I have a lot of photos stored in HP photo albums - so I don't really want to remove this software. I tried using Java Ra to remove it, but it's still there. Do I need to remove it - if so how do I do this?

That looks like a false positive to me. That file is embedded in an HP programme.

Secunia should not be directing U to install the SPS standalone JAVA programme.

That file is not vulnerable so there is no hurry for a resolution.

There have been numerous other instances like this recently. I will write to Secunia Support again & remind them of the outstanding issues they have failed to comment on & will include this problem for U.

My advice. Do nothing until Secunia Support respond.

I have sent an email to Support tonight about this issue.

I have unlocked your thread to allow them to respond.

Last edited on 12th Apr, 2012 13:23 Hi,

If you run a full rescan this problem should no longer occur.

If the issue has not been resolved, please post the troubleshoot report. You can obtain the troubleshoot report by double-clicking the program entry on the scan results page (For PSI 2.x) and clicking "Troubleshoot report".

Hope this helps.
