PSI 1.5 is unable to connect to secunia.com. I do not use a proxy connection. https://psi.secunia.com and https://*.secunia are listed within my internet connections.

What is the solution?

Error message dialogue box:

Please verify that you are able to connect to https://psi.secunia.com/
and then restart the PSI.

NOTE: Proxy support for the PSI is currently unavailable, but is planned
for a future release. If your system requires access to the Internet
through a proxy you will not be able to use the application at this time.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

I had the same error message and discovered that my firewall was blocking Secunia PSI in my firewall. I also had to unblock Secunia PSI Agent in my firewall for the scan to complete.
