Hi all.
I have the version 3.0.0.2003 of PSI and I had to do a manual update to 3.0.0.3001.
Why PSI does not update itself automatically?

There are good reasons:

1. PSI is a vulnerability checker & not a general updater. It does not notify users of updates/upgrades to any programme, including its own, where the update or upgrade is released for bug fixes or cosmetic reasons.

2. Secunia supports three versions of PSI. Given that version 3 is not an upgrade to versions 1 or 2 many users do not wish to use version 3 therefore any auto update would be counter productive to those users.
