After applying the "solution" by Secunia PSI the upgrade to Adobe Flash Player downloads and starts installing. PSI says it is "waiting for the update to complete" 2 days later. I've rescanned the program, shut down and rebooted the PC and PSI still says the same thing. Any ideas how to fix? Here is the PSI troubleshooting report:

Numerous user report the slowness of updating on occasions.

I would manually complete the task from here:

Manual download completes but PSI still says "waiting for update to complete" after rescan. Anyone with other suggestions?

So the solution (per the other thread) is to do nothing and wait for PSI to fix the problem?

It looks that way on reading ddmarshall's post.

I am surprised Secunia Support of not commented on that post to confirm the details. Equally, I am unsure whether he or anyone else has contacted support asking them to adjust their database.

We have updated our detection rules and after a rescan the issue should now have been fixed.
