I'm running PSI 2.0 on Windows 7 & IE9. I've been experiencing quiite a few quirky errors recently, mostly Java and/or Adobe-related.

Now, when I try to Install Solution from the user interface, I receive the following 2 error dialogs:

1. Web browser path obtained from the registery is potentially unsafe. The requested command was not executed:

C:\Program Files (x86\Internet Explorer\explore.exe\"339fe4d066cf943aeac44d136267 e452 (Click OK)

2. An error occurred while attempting to open the specified URL.

I've done a complete unistall of Adobe FP then reinstalled but still receive this error. The only way that I can install an update from Secunia is to use the Approve Update option but it's painfully slow.

Ideas? Thanks.

Randy,
Your default browser is not set up correctly in the Registry. Details here:

If you want exact details on what to do we need to know your OS,whether it is 32 or 64 Bit & your preferred default browser.

Thanks for the rapid response Maurice!

Obviously, I have no idea what I did to cause this! I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate.

I reached the registry path as indicated. How will adding '-nohome' only affect usage of Secunia & not other browser-related functions as I'm only seeing the specific error only when using Secunia?
