is it nessesary to have this program installed,as it it now showing up as insecure even after patching it and rescaning, ps. what does this program do,thanks ch. 7.

I don't think it's really nescessary but I keep it available for use.
Safari the an alternative internet explorer from Apple. It comes with
ITunes and is updated regularly. I regularly use it when Microsoft IE7
stops working sometimes. So far Secunia did not tell me that Safari is unsafe. Did you install the latest updates for ITunes and Quicktime Player?
