I'm having troubles updating iTunes to Windows7 64 bit.
I keep getting MSVCR80.dll is missing, even though a search show several ones. I have reuinstalled 3 times and uninstalled and reinstalled. I need help.

There are a lot of reports on the Apple forum of problems with the iTunes update.

Most people manage to solve this by uninstalling all Apple programs and then installing iTunes. The programs have to be uninstalled in the correct sequence which you can find in

There doesn't seem to be anything actually wrong with the Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable contrary to the error message.

Thank you for the help.
What worked is removing the Apple programs and reinstalling ITunes.
I was reluctant to remove them all but did, and find the are reinstalled via iTunes.
I found these guide line which I followed.

Remove all of these items in the following order:

Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Apple Application Support

Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
