I have seen with Update Checker that JRE 8.0 is out. Secunia PSI still doesn't show 7u51 as vulnerable.

I understand 8.x is a feature release and not a security fix. I wonder if there are certain recommendations about or against installing new version.

Update Checker always enforces latest releases or even betas, yet I am concerned about stability. As maintainer of 4 labs with sum of 50+ PCs, any update that would render 4 labs unusable would be catastrophic.
