Flash Player 18.0.0.209 followed the 18.0.0.160, 18.0.0.194 and 18.0.0.203 line plagued with zero exploits.

But now Flash updated to .209, but PSI scan doesn't "see" it.

Here: They say that image speaks more than a thousand words:

Any advice?

All the best,
mtodorov

I installed .209 earlier this morning. My PSI 3.0.0.10004 showed this version correct after a rescan. Hope this helps.

I am still using PSI 2.0.0.4003 on Windows 7 64-bit.
PSI showed "zero day" for Flash 18.0.0.203 on one machine, and didn't list Flash Player 18.0.0.209 64-bit at all on the other.

Wonder what that may mean?
I don't like PSI v3.0, I don't think IMHO that PSI is still not mature enough to "set it and forget it".

All the best,
mt

Just tested it for you using Windows 7 SP1 and PSI version 2.0.3003 and it is not showing after a normal scan or a scan after a reboot.

You know your files are OK and you are secure so you do not require Secunia to advise you. It is not the first time Secunia have been slow updating their wares.

This is not new at all.
Each time after Adobe updates Adobe Flash Player, the Secunia PSI 2.0 scan does not detect the new Adobe Flash Player version and I need to use "Suggest a Program" to ask Secunia to update the Secunia PSI database.
(I don't know for PSI 3.0, but I suppose it's the same.)
The next day I find a Secunia Support e-mail saying "We have adjusted our detection rule for Adobe Flash Player", and all is well.

I can confirm that PSI 2.0.0.3003 successfully detected Flash ActiveX & NPAPI 18.0.0.209 after some time and rescan w/o restart or reboot of Windows.

But it took a while, so I reckon search rules had been modified in the mean time as Secunia personnel spotted error.

I am very glad about how it works now.

All the best,
mt
