I just started PCI (running on an HP laptop with Windows 7 Pro 32bit) and, as is often the case, I get the message "Please Run a Scan." When I do so, it goes through the entire scanning process but, when it completes, it again displays the message "Please Run a Scan." I've done this 5 times now and I still get this message. What's going on?

The FAQ didn't have a description of my specific problem, but I did get it to work properly in the end. I believe the problem might relate to a partially complete Windows 7 update - the kind where there's an exclamation mark with a yellow background next to the "Shut down" button. When I shut down, then restarted, the problem disappeared.
