If it still shows after a reboot and full PSI scan you need to navigate to that file location and manually delete the old exe file. Once that is done the result of a new full PSI scan should reveal the new version you installed.

This file was found by PSI on 1st August and is the one that requires deletion.
Instances Found:
C:\Users\jar_2\AppData\Local\Code\app-0.5.0\resour ces\app\tools\bin\win\node.exe, version: 0.10.29.0

Not sure what you mean by todays date if it was present on 1st August.
Once that file is removed v0-10-40 should show after a full rescan.

I just updated it on 1 August, and it had that date, so it could not be the old version. In fact, I tried twice. PSI is incorrectly identifying the file.

There is a REMOTE chance that PSI is giving you the wrong data in that Windows 10 is NOT supported.
http://secunia.com/support/psi/system-requirements...

To prove the point you need to navigate to here C:\Users\jar_2\AppData\Local\
and publish a snapshot of all the files in that folder. Secunia Support would need that information as a minimum if you are suggesting there is a flaw in their scan engine.

I can only repeat myself.
Once you downloaded the latest version did you reboot and carry out a full PSI scan?

If the answer is yes did PSI find this file as present on your system?

C:\Users\jar_2\AppData\Local\Code\app-0.5.0\resour ces\app\tools\bin\win\node.exe, version: 0.10.29.0

If the answer is yes then the OLD version exe file was not removed on the update procedure leaving your PC vulnerable hence the alert from PSI. This often happens after vendor updates.

Did you follow the navigation aid that PSI has to find the rogue file or have you manually searched File Explorer to find it?

If it is not present as you state then a snapshot as outlined above will prove the point.

Not sure I can help anymore - I would suggest you contact support who are not active on the Forum hence your long wait for help.
