I've created quite a few threads about Opera having taken over as the main browser for this Forum eg https://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/15...

My problem has gone away, thanks to Maurice Joyce, who gave me a step-by-step walkthrough on how to change my registry to get IE back.

I can't say thank you, Maurice, on the latest thread as it's been locked.

This has been the most annoying of any PC problem in recent years so I'm now very happy. So happy that I might just try to set up my new Win10 laptop! [Added: at which point all of the experts here have decide to go on holiday for a fortnight] ;o)
