I've finally listened to advice here and elsewhere never to have your main 'everyday' user profile as an Administrator but to have it as a Standard.
I can of course run programs as an Administrator when in my everyday Standard profile and this is what I've been doing.
Yesterday, however, I had a problem so switched to my Administrator profile.
There's no Secunia icon showing there. It's been a very long time since I last installed a new program - at the back of my mind is a feeling that when you do, you're given the opportunity to install it on all profiles or just yours. Is this what might have happened with Secunia? If so how can I get it on my Administrator profile?
