Hello,

I have downloaded and installed the security-only version of this patch. However, Secunia insists that my computer is still insecure, but Belarc Advisor (according to their latest definitions) says all required Windows 7 security patches are installed.

Has it become Secunia's policy to require Windows' monthly rollups be installed instead?

Thanks.

Only Flexera Support can answer your question on policy. They have not been active on this Forum for over a year. You can try the old support email address but highly unlikely you will get a response.

Thanks,

Have you noticed this behavior before? Microsoft went with a monthly rollup format for Windows 7 last year, but this is the first time I have ever seen Secunia tag a rollup as necessary after the security-only patches were installed.

I am using Secunia 2.0 for what it's worth. (I like the interface better than version 3.0)

This has been raised on the Forum here: https://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/15...
and here:
https://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/15...

As can been seen there is no response from Support and the issue remains.

I do not pick and choose any Microsoft updates nor do I use PSI as a permanently installed programme so have no personal experience of the issue.
