Just installed PSI and am getting an error message that connection cannot be made with the servers to accomplish the updates. Is there a fix for this, or is Secunia PSI now obsolete?

It is not obsolete and works on Windows 10. Have you checked the FAQ in particular this section

Thanks, Maurice, but that entry did not address my issue. When I open the PSI app, it shows me several programs needing updates, but when I click on one to activate it, it attempts to connect, and the error message reads "Failed to connect to the Secunia servers. Please close Secunia PSI and check your internet connection." My internet connection is fine, as I work on it continuously. BTW, I did check Admin Tools, and yes the settings are correct for auto startup.....

Which programmes are you trying to update via PSI?
