As title says, PSI asks for an update of Microsoft .NET Framework 1.x on my Windows 10 x64 PC. Microsoft says .net 1.x isn't supported under windows 10.

After checking (my system was upgraded from windows 7 x64) apps and features there is only .NET framworks 4.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6 and 4.6.1 together with the MS .net Version Manager (x64) 1.0.0-beta5 installed on my system

Any ideas?

Eli

Eli,
What file path is PSI giving you to the problem?

Right click on the scan result entry and select Show Details to find the information required.

Eli,
If you have given me the path correctly I am surprised to see that it is not in the Windows > Microsoft .Net Folder. Is PSI giving you a link to update it or is it telling you that it is End of Life (EOL)?

Are there other files in the DotNet folder?

On the scan result page carry out the same procedure as before to expose the path. Now double click on the path and it will open File (Windows) Explorer so you can see the offending file - can you see it? Are there any other files?
