My Firefox is up to date, version 58, although it's working horrible since the update. Secunia psi is showing two instances of it as end of life:
Mozilla Firefox 56.x (64 bit) installed version 56.0.0.6455
secure version 57.x End of Life
C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe

Mozilla Firefox 56.x installed version 56.0.0.6452 secure version 57x
End of Life
C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe

What do I need to do to straighten this out?

Hi Nikilet, I have v. 57.0 installed since 14/11, PSI shows it correct. Version 58 is scheduled for January 2018. Do you you use a beta version? In the past I experienced that there were leftovers from a previous version after updating. In PSI right-click on the old version, you see a menu, click on 'details', the installation path is shown. Delete the old versions, run a manual scan and it should be solved. This worked in the past for me.

First of all, I don't know how I ended up with the Beta version 58, but it was not intentional.

I don't think this solution is going to work for me because when I go to the location listed in details, the only versions listed are the new versions. Something seems off here to me but I don't know how to figure it out. I can't delete what isn't there and the old version, 56, does not appear

Hi Nikilet, It looks complicated and I don't know how you got a beta version. Maybe you can try to solve this by completely uninstall all Firefox related items, clean up the directories and start with a fresh downloaded version 57. Or first try Firefox Community Support.
