I sent a quick email to support@flexerasoftware.com inquiring if there were any plans to update Secunia PSI 3.0.

This is their reply:

There are no current plans to update PSI and this is not currently supported software. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I guess my next questions are...is their replacement software being developed that will be supported? How long Will Secunia PSI 3.0 be operational?

Just curious- what are you looking forward to in the update?
Secunia3 3.x seems to work fine for most of us.

I have looked around for replacements but have found nothing that I was happy with.

Well....Secunia PSI 3 was last updated in 2015. Version 3 is clunky, slow, and locks up on a regular basis. Version 2 was far superior, but I was forced to update to version 3 when 2 was unsupported.

I was just told that version 3 is not supported by flexerasoftware.com...so my question still remains what is the future of Secunia PSI 3? Usually unsupported software develops problems over time if its not updated.

Dear Scott,

We apologize for the miscommunication with our support team. PSI is a free consumer product and not entitled to support, therefore "not supported software".In regards to your question about development. PSI remains functional. We are not working on a replacement for the product at this point and we do not have an End-of-Life date for the current version. We will keep the PSI community informed.

@raslam. Fine to hear about the current status of PSI and that it will work in the future. I have a long time experience with PSI and it woks very good for me.

I agree with joeadinaolf and Leendert Kip; the actual PSI 3.0 is working without any problems here too ...
