Recently downloaded 8.2 and Secunia still shows 7.x. Secunia is screwed up on this one, again. I even double-checked via Control Paneland verified the 8.2 install.

I had the same problem untill I installed 8.2.0.23. Do you see this version in patched programs? You can try a rescan on iTunes. Go to patched programs, click on + before iTunes, you get a - and a line with several options where you can select rescan.

And a rescan didn't help? I don't know how to solve this. Maybe Maurice
Joyce knows how?

I'm new to Secunia and I am having this same problem with iTunes. I'll have to look for the advanced version of Secunia that someone mentioned.

Is there some program that I can use on my pc other than iTunes? I can't install iTunes without installing QuickTime and Bonjour, both of which I have previously uninstalled.

Thank you.

@Jitterbug
Are U using the OSI or PSI version of Secunia?

If U have not got PSI download it from here:
http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/
Once U open the programme look at the top right corner - click on Advanced (blue lettering) and U have now activated the Advanced mode.

Can U not uninstall I Tunes using Add/Remove?

The latest version is here:

Hi, I installed the (patched) 8.x version and now my iTunes is secure. (I thought the Apple download button would never work--I came back much later and it was finally working.) I could not uninstall the version 7.x iTunes through Control Panel add/remove--that option was not listed for iTunes. I did go into Program Files and delete the old 7.x exe files, and a lot of the old program files. Thanks, everyone, for the help.
