By all means use the installation path given by the technical info link.
Just this week I publicly embarrassed myself in the forum by poor-mouthing PSI without first running the link. Secunia had picked up on a second installation path that started C:\oldfiles\oldfiles\... and nobody else picked up on it. In my computer C:\oldfiles\oldfiles... is the gateway to a boar's nest. System Restore has three installation paths. Really. Last night I knitted one of them into a desktop shortcut,
so I know.
PSI is a bit quirky at times, but sometimes you get information from it that you will get nowhere else. Check out every feature whenever you use it.
Flash Player in particular, and Adobe generally, are sore points with me. I use the products since I must, but I don't download them from Adobe, even if I could. I reinstall Flash Player something like once a week. That's about how long it takes to die.
