Which is right?

Hi.

Just done a scan and PSI claims Windows is insecure and advises me to download the update. Windows update says there are no updates.

Is PSI wrong?

Thanks.

It is Microsoft Tuesday - U do not appear to have today's updates installed.

Try updating & see what happens.

Hi,Maurice.
In the thread of Joliet i have seen that the system score is 100%.
in the second image showing that there is no updates for windows,
i see that latest updates was on 29/12/2009 and you know that
there were many updates for win7 from that date till today .
So, what you think.
John.

There was a Microsoft update today and PSI now says 100% and no problem.

Clearly there is an issue perhaps of time zones where one part of the world has new updates while other parts have yet to get them or even hear about them and maybe PSI goes with the earliest time zone.

I think U are correct. Microsoft post on the second Tuesday of every month.

I assume U are using automatic update or notify me option which could account for your delay.

I go to the site direct & install on the day of release.

Last time I looked Scotland was part of the UK:
