PSI says I have an end of life program: Adobe Shockwave Player 10.x.

Under Remove Programs I show only Shockwave Player 11.5. I just tried a game from Shockwave game site and it downloaded some Shockwave Player item.

This is where it appears.
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Shockwave 10\SwOnce.dll

How do I get rid of this?

I believe the problem is that Shockwave 11 retains some of Shockwave 10 elements for backward compatibility.

Not much U can do really - U could try the old trick of renaming it _OLD but I think the programme U are using will not work.

Hi, Nikilet. I wouldn't be worried about the Shockwave 10 files on your machine. I've had it on mine for ages without any problem(s). Of course it's always important to have a good security system set up on your machine. As you already know, some games, sites need it for functionality and install it if it's needed anyhow. It won't show however in Add/Remove programs. If you want to get rid of it just delete the files or the entire Shockwave 10 folder.

Suggest you remove Adobe Shockwave Player 10.x completely.
You can contact Adobe about the feature differences between 10.0 and 11.5. Usually they keep the features from the previous version.
