Secunia PSI indicates that I have two insecure Adobe Flash Player10x programes,
10.0.32.18
10.0.27.87.
I cannot remove / delete them using control panel, C Cleaner, revo uninstaller.
Advice please.
Keith

Last edited on 1st Feb, 2010 11:23 Hi,
Please set the PSI to advanced mode. You can do this by clicking "Advanced" in the top right corner.

Now, please navigate to the "Insecure" tab, and click "+" to expand the relevant entry. The field called "installation path" is the file the PSI is picking up. Which file is this?

Hope this helps.

Thanks, single or double left or right clicking on advanced in top right hand corner fails to come to life, just remains blue.

If you're seeing more than one "tab", one labeled Insecure, you're already in the Advanced mode. Single left-clicking it should bring you to Advanced mode otherwise.

Simple tab remains in 'light' blue.
No reaction as before with advanced tab
Two insecure tabs for Adobe Flash Player 10x are shown as first identified.
Direct Download for both is indicated but have just tried to action such downloads without any apparent effect, that is the two programs remain being shown as insecure on the PSI screen.
Keith.

Hi,
It did fetch the updates, and you ran them, is that correct? Otherwise, please execute the downloaded files.

If you've done this and it still shows as insecure, please rescan.

Could I ask you to post the file path I mentioned in my first reply?

Old versions of adobe flash aren't always correctly removed, and often leave traces behind (that the PSI picks up).

You can refer to adobe's own documentation for removing flash, which can be found here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Hope this helps.
