The updates as provided by Secunia doesn't work. It remains insecure. I'm working with wondows 7. Adobe Flash Player 10.0.42.34 (ActiveX)
Installationpad: C\windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10d.ocx

Hi,

It is likely that, while the update did successfully complete, you still have an old, insecure installation around. Could you please verify if there is an entry in both the "insecure" and "patched" tabs for the application?

If not, can I ask you to post the "file path" to the detected entry? You can find this by clicking the "+" button and reading the "Installation path" field.

A- The dowloaded pached programs are:
1- Adobe Flash Player 10.0.45.2 (NPAPI)
Installationpad: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll
2- Adobe Flash Player 10.0.45.2 (ActiveX)
Installationpad: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10e.ocx

B- The insecure program which remains:
Adove Flash Player 10.0.42.34 (ActiveX)
Installationpad: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10d.ocx

Hi

Try to close every program that uses flash (including the PSI) and run the Flash installer again.

How to close the PSI:
Right click the PSI icon in the tray and pick "Exit"

I have removed from de adobe program the insecure part nl.:
10.0.42.34(ActiveX) installationpad: C:\Windows\ystem32\macromed\Flash\Flash10d.ocx

Now it is mentioned as secure. I hope it wil remain like this.
