I downloaded the latest version of PSI but when I attempt to install I get this error message.

The Secunia PSI Installer was unable to remove one or more previous version of the program from this computer. Please try to remove them manually and then restart the Secunia PSI Installer.

What do I need to do to remove the old version so I can install 1.5.0.2?

If U cannot do it via Control Panel>add/remove then Navigate to C:\Program Files>Secunia - right click & delete it.

If U are unsure how to navigate please indicate which OS U are using & I will give more detailed instructions.

Hi

In addition to Maurice's reply:

You can also try to skip the uninstallation part when installation the 1.5.0.2 version of the PSI using the Command Prompt.

Are you familiar with the Command Prompt?

Simply type: "CMD" in the "run.." text field or in the "Search Program" field in the start menu.

A black window should now appear.

use: "cd.." to get a step "up" from the current folder.
use: "cd #folder name#" where #folder name# should be replaced by the folder you wish to navigate to.
use: "dir" to show the content of the folder you currently are in.

If the PSISetup.exe is on your desktop:

cd c:\users\username\desktop

then use the command: PSISetup.exe -SkipUninstall

Did this solve your problem?

Thanks for the guidance! The install worked when I skipped the uninstall step.
