Every morning when I start my computer I get a warning that Sun Java is a threat. I have tried going to the fix and re-installing it, which works until I start the computer the next day.

Hi Willy52 - and welcome here!

There have been several issues reported here with Java, and so several threads.

I had problems that I was able to resolve using advice given by Maurice Joyce. This advice is shown here:

May I suggest that you look at these to see if they offer the solution you need. If not please get back.

EDIT: If you have to get back for more help, it will help if you give details of your system etc - as I have done, below.
Also, can you tell us which program Secunia has detected, please. To do this, you need to be in the Advanced tab. Excellent info from wr & Anthony Wells is shown in this thread:
