Secunia is showing 2 insecure programs that both relate to net framework 2 & 3. For some reason these are not downloading via the MS update site. My system tray keeps telling me there are updates waiting but i have only been able to download 1 out of 3 updates.

I am running XP Pro SP3

Net framework 2

C:windows\\framework\v2.0.50727\aspne t_wp.exe

Net framework 3

c:windows\\framework\v3.0\windows communication foundation\SMSvchost.exe

Hope this helps someone as I am first time poster

I keep getting a false positive. I am being told to upgrade my VLC player to 2.0.1 It was upgradecover 2 weeks ago.

System has been rebooted numerous times since then.

bc019 first posted this in Vulnerabilities. I suggested reposting here with more info, which bc019 has done.

But Secunia have moved the other thread to Programs too.

So there are now two live threads.

I have suggested that (a) Secunia lock the other thread & (b) That you help bc019 on this thread, as this is where the info you need is.
