Could not install latest version (7.67.750). Got error message 'Error writing to file:
c:\Config.Msl\b0f340.rbf. Verify that you have access to this directory.' I am logged on as administrator. Error persists when anti-spyware and internet security programs disabled first. Any clues? Running Win XP sp3. The installation program uninstalls itself, leaving the earlier version intact.

Hi IreneW,

c:\config.msi is a (hidden) folder used by the Windows Installer (msiexec) to store temporary rollback files in case a setup fails. Perhaps the procedure to delete this folder, as descibed here (http://www.pchell.com/support/configmsifolder.shtm...), may help you to solve this problem.
