Hi

what must I do to fix that?

Important Note: "Microsoft Update" not found "Microsoft Update" was not found on your PC, which is required for correct reports on security issues affecting Microsoft products. Update now.

My PC is connected to a local Windows System Update Service (WSUS).

Hi,

The PSI is for personal use only.
If you want to install updates on your local, home machine, simply go to Microsoft Update (http://update.microsoft.com/) in Internet Explorer. It will prompt you to install a newer version of the updating software (In reality, the Microsoft Update ActiveX Control), which is the component the PSI depends on.

The PSI will not function in a centralized WSUS enviroment, or if you don't have administrative priviliges on your machine. Please read http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... for more information about the PSI's requirement.

For information about Vulnerability Scanning non-domestic enviroments, please see http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/corporat...

Hi

Yes i know that PSI is "for Personal Use only". I use the free WSUS-Service for my Home Network to. Not every where in Germany you become a really flatrate with unlimited bandwith.

Thanks for the Tip with the ActiveX Control.

The Requirement "Important Note: "Microsoft Update" not found" is better Change to "Important Note: "Microsoft Update ActiveX Control" not found".

PS:
We use Corporate Secunia Service at Work.
