I just installed the new version of Java which Secunia told me was insecure, but now it says "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" is still insecure. What do I do to fix this?

Hi,

After running a full rescan, are you still shown as Insecure?

If so, does re-applying the solution change anything?

If not, please enter Advanced Mode by clicking 'Advanced' mode in the top right corner.
Then, please navigate to both the Insecure and Patched tabs, and verify that you do not have an entry for this program on both tabs.
If that is the case, the problem you are experiencing is caused by the Java installer leaving behind an old version of itself, which the PSI is still detecting.

hope this helps.

Yep, that was the problem. I had to manually uninstall Java because it didn't do it automatically. Thanks for the help.
