Hi. My laptop is Win7.
I use PSI v184.108.40.206 including the auto-update facility for Air, Flash, Foxit Reader Firefox & Sun Java JRE.
The Auto-Update history show that the latest Flash was installed on 24 September ("Ran installaton of Adobe Flash Player 10.x version 10.1.85.3 (ActiveX)").
When my wife used it yesterday, two of her regular sites said that she need Flash v9 or later. I had to instal it again under her profile (but with my administrator password).
(1) Surely when it was auto-installed it would have been for all users? I can't imagine it was a problem with the auto-update.
(2) Could it have been linked to the issues that Fred raised in http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/586...
(3) I have always used Filehippo for updates but this time I used the link on the website that needed it. Although I unticked the "install Google toolbar" box, it installed it anyway plus the usual auto-udate toolbar box. I can't delete these google files using the My Computer (or rather Win7 version) as it says 'Folder in use' - which it's not. I'm going around in circles!

|Cannot help with auto update - best left to Secunia Official.
In Window 7 U should clearly see an entry in add/remove for a JAVA updater - just uninstall it.
While U are at it why not completely remove JAVA. When did U last use it?
Not convinced? Read this:
I install JAVA on my test PC but would never install it on my main platform.
I will contact U by email later today reference Google issue. Think I know what the problem is but do not wish to reveal the detail on this Forum.
