Hi.

Does anyone know how to remove a program from the control panel by RUNDLL and with an ending \Ctor.dll ? I installed a program that had a ton of stuff that I don't want and cannot remove from the control panel. I will appreciate any tips. Thank you very much.

Whoops!

Did U save it to desktop & scan with anti virus/malware checker before install?

This may help.

They may be other options. Type ctor.dll in your browser search box.

Hello Maurice.

No, I did not save it to desktop. It is a program that I know and that I've used before, but this time the install took a very long time and there are several programs (unwanted) that were included in the install.

Thank you for the link which I will try. I will also try the search.

Maurice: I tried your link and it scanned my computer and found 8 things, but did not delete them. However, It did not seem to find any ctor.dll.

How do I delete HKEY things? Thank you.

Hello.

I got rid of Ctor.dll with tune-up.com. Thanks.

If all your problems are now resolved could U please lock (Accept) the thread. This will prevent us both from receiving update emails from "tag on" posts.

I note U have another thread open. U have Malwarebytes which should be OK for U.

As U have noted it catches the pests after "the horse has bolted". The Pro version prevents them from getting on the system. Choice is yours.
