I hav dwnlded 6 times Mozilla Firefox 3.6X Cat 5 threat & still recv notif of threat!

PSI is finding an insecure, previous version, probably in a non-default location - maybe a back-up location. Multiple updating, won't solve this. You need to locate the version of Ff. that PSI is finding - and which version it is.

PSI - in Advanced mode (top right of PSI window), click on Insecure tab, then on left of listing for Ff. click on [+]. This will now reveal the Installation Path - version number will also be shown, approx. in centre. If in doubt, click Tech. Details icon.

PSI 2.0 beta - in Scan Results page, click on [+] on left of listing for Ff. to reveal same info.

Copy (Ctrl+C) these details and paste (Ctrl.+V) them on your next reply.


Computing is not yet a perfect science - it still requires humans.
