Have downloaded 4 times and when try to install, get notice of corrupted download and to go to source and redownload. NSIS Error, whatever that is. Used Revo Uninstaller to remove old version before trying to install, but still no success.

Try clearing the browser cache. Then download & save to desktop. Activate install from there.

Did what you suggested. Still get:

"Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

More information at:
http://nsis.sf.net?NSIS_Error"

Went to above site and followed IE8 suggestions. Still fails.

Now U have cleared the cache try this:

1. Navigate to PSI using Windows Explorer & uninstall PSI using their own uninstaller which is in the folder.

2. Download & save PSI to desktop from here:

http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal...

3. Activate the install from desktop.

1. Download & save PSI to desktop or on your hard drive somewhere.

2. Right click on the file and Rename the installer.

3. Activate the installation.

This should fix the problem of downloading & installing the new version of PSI 2.0

the fix is you have to rename the original installer to install.exe for an example.

I had the same error message did this only. Fixed the problem.

The site that you went to for this NSIS Error message should've also told you that the reason why this is happenning is because the installer of the program needs to be changed to another name for it to work properly. for this error message.

Hi,

For those still experiencing this problem, please try this procedure:

1) Clear your browser cache and temporary internet files
2) Try downloading the PSI from http://secunia.com/PSISetup.exe

Has this resolved the issue? If not, I suggest you try using an alternative method, such as using a download manager or another browser.

Is anyone still unable to install the PSI 2.0?

Update.

Waited a day and downloaded and installed today without problems. Noticed the download today is larger than yesterday. It is possible that the Secunia servers were overloaded and not downloading consistently. Have installed successfully under Vista Home Premium and Windows 7 32 bit without uninstalling previous version or other exceptional actions.
