Hey,

I've heard that PSI 2.0 isn't localized yet and thus is always downloading English version updates for installed software. Is this correct? Will this be changed? If yes, when will this be changed?

Kind regards!

This is a reply from another thread given by a Secunia Official.

Hi,

As far as I know the language is still intact. :)

Are you referring to the translations in the PSI?
The PSI 2.0 (just released) has not yet been translated into any of the languages the old version (1.5.x) has been translated into.

This is because we rely on volunteers to translate the PSI, and would not ask them before the product was 'finished' (so they would not have to redo their work). Hopefully, the PSI 2.0 should be translated as soon as possible.

hope this helps.

Hi Emil,

I did the translation to Russian for version 1. Do you know when the translation portal will be opened for version 2?
Also I can't find my credentials for this portal - what is the best way for me to recover this information?

Thank you,
Dmitry

I was not referring to the translations in the PSI, but to the versions of software updates the auto updater is loading. I've heard that when it updates e.g. Firefox it will always update to the English version, not to the previously installed localized version. Is this correct?
