I've now installed the new version of PSI 2.0
I've now a little problem, not very important, but somebody possibly can help

I've two PC's with Windows 7.
Naturally they are not equal in all contents and configurations.

Now at one PC on the dashboard there's not created the graphic about the status of programs and at the other it's created

Thanks for any idea to solve this

Are U using IE9 BETA? PSI is not compatible with it & to regain the graphics U should downgrade to a stable version of IE.

Secunia have stated that compatibility will not be achieved until IE9 RTM date or later.

Thanks for your answer, Maurice.
I've installed the IE9 Beta in order to try it and it's not installed on the other PC where the graphics works.

So it seems logic.
Only that my standard browser is firefox!??
When working with internet normaly opens the firefox

Many thanks

Hi,

Although you personally prefer using Firefox (and I can't say I blame you) the PSI uses Internet Explorer, which is build-in to the Operating System (and thus does not constitute an additional dependency).

This means that settings in IE can directly affect the PSI. Futhermore, the IE9 Beta does not support the graphics framework we used to replace flash (Which is no longer a requirement in the new PSI).

However, apart from dashboard graphics (which is out of our hands), everything seems to work as it should in IE9 (and much faster, actually).

hope this helps.

I tried IE9 for a couple of weeks - very impressive. PSI version 2 worked flawlessly with it just the graphics were as U state.

If U can live with that on 1PC it should not give U any other hassle that is noticable.

I downgraded for other reasons - mainly some UK banks & professional programmes that use with IE are not fully compliant either.

Edit: Whoops. Sorry Emil - treading on your toes!
