The premium security suite seems to be recognized as the personal free edition.

Here the same: Avira AntiVir Premium Security Suite 10x is recognised as Avira AntiVir Personal 10.0.12.29 which means the Free edition.

Hi,

Could you please file a software suggestion for the 'avgnt.exe' file? Please put 'Attn: Emil' in the comment field, and I will see what I can do about this issue. :)

hope this helps.

Hi

Thank you for the software suggestion.

However, the files and paths are identical in the free and pro version.

We would need a file which is only present in the pro version.

If someone could make a software suggestion on a file like that, we would be able to update our rules accordingly.

Ys I understand what you mean. However, it's impossible to compare the full directories of both versions because I only have Premium Security Suite. So we have to accept the situation as is. Thanks for your support.

I would suggest to use the

avwebgrd.exe file as a reference for if it is a professional version.
The Antivira web guard is not included in the personal version.

Currently the avwebgrd.exe has the following FileVersion: 10.0.18.0

Best regards and thanks for considering. I will file a suggestion for this file .
