PSI 2.0 is showing this program as insecure--I am not using it as I have another anti-virus installed; I went to "add/remove" programs but Symantec NAV 2005 is not in the list. PSI shows it on d:\I386\Apps\APP12700\src\NAV\EXTERNAL\NORTON\APP\ NAVAPSVC.EXE. When I try to navigate to it, I get a warning from HP system that I should not delete anything on d: drive. How do I get rid of this program?
thanks,
Kitty

Kitty,
It looks like it is on a system reinstall drive. Is that what U use the D drive for?

If so it is SAFE - create an ignore rule.

CREATING A GLOBAL IGNORE RULE - ALL PSI VERSIONS EXCEPT VERSION 2

1.Click on the SETTINGS tab>scroll to the bottom & click on CREATE IGNORE RULE

2.In the RULE NAME BOX insert the Drive detail - My Backup Drive for example.

3.In the RULE BOX type D:\.

4.Click SAVE IGNORE RULE>CLOSE

5.Carry out a full PSI rescan & all should be in order.

All hard drives will continue to be scanned by default but the result from the drives ignored will not be published.

Kitty,
Sorry - I have just noted U are using PSI version 2. Unsure why the D drive is being scanned but to correct that check here:

Open PSI>On the DASHBOARD click CONFIGURATION>now click SETTINGS>U will see a TAB marked DRIVES>click it>take the tick (check mark) out of the D Drive box.

Complete a full PSI scan. Has that removed it?
