This morning I read a post from Maurice mentioning that 3001 was available.
Did not see any announcement or notification from PSI that this happened.
What is the usual way Secunia tells us that there is a new version?

Hi,

Whether or not the PSI notifies our users of a new version depends on the impact of the release. Build 3001 is a minor bugfix release (eg. the missing drives issue) for problems that impacted a small minority of our users.

For major releases, the PSI will notify you with the balloon pop-up.

Hope this helps.
