Hi,

By now, Irfanview 4.x has an invalid update link, what is causing auto-update / install solution to fail.

The current link points to version 4.27, although the current version is 4.28.

The new correct update link should be http://ukms.tucows.com/files/iview428_setup.exe (the older one is the same, although points to version 427)

Interestingly the download link is serving a zero length file. This is causing PSI 2.0 to get a little confused about what is happening. When clicking in the "Approve Update" button, it correctly changes the status to downloading, but when the execution fails it changes status to "Cleaning up" and then goes back to "Approve Update", without notifying the user that happened an error. This could be improved in PSI interface.

Although double clicking in the row, it correctly shows the update error:

Auto-Update History for IrfanView 4.x:
... 20:43:34 --> Failed to update to version 4.2.7.0
... 20:12:06 --> Failed to update to version 4.2.7.0
... 20:10:33 --> Failed to update to version 4.2.7.0

Thanks.

The link has been changed and the Auto-Update feature should be working again.

Thank you for reporting the issue!
