Why is the new "Bing Bar" 7.xxx patched as Avast Antivirus?

I do not think it is - the new Bing Bar is not on the database.

I have asked Secunia Support to include it.

I have the same problem.
the bingbar is patched togheder wiith my avast antivirus in the secunia scanresults - I understand, that secunia don`t yet know tht new bingbar - but why is it patched under avast

Can U produce a picture of what U can see?
POSTING A SCREEN SHOT TO THE FORUM

To post a screen shot to the Forum U need to:

1. Capture the image by using a programme such as:
a. Microsoft Paint - details here:How To Take A Screenshot:
http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Micros...
b. Microsoft One Note
c. Microsoft Snippet (Windows 7 & Vista)
d. Any third party equivalent programme.


2. Save the image to an online repository such as Microsoft Skydrive or Office Online or here: http://imageshack.us/

3. Post the hyperlink to the stored online image to the Forum.

Yes!
And I do not even have Avast Antivirus installed on my computer!
But Secunia shows an "avast antivirus" patch with "Bing Bar.exe" as
"Detected Instance"!

Thank U. No wonder it is not registered as a separate item in my list. Looks like it has been misplaced.

I will resubmit my request to have the bar included as a proper standalone item & point them to this thread so they can adjust it.

Edit: Now resubmitted to Secunia Support.

The Bing Bar 7.x should now be listed as such in the Secunia PSI after a rescan.

Having completed a full PSI rescan the programme is now showing correctly on my PC.

Yes it is now sparated from my avast and everything seemes to be OK.
