Hi, I'm having a problem with the programm called cURL 7.x, since Secunia PSI has detected this as Insecure.

I've already read some posts on the forum about it & done some google research, but nothings really been usefull, since this is in combination with my Foxit Reader.
I've already installed the new version of Foxit Reader, did another scan with PSI but that didn't fix the problem.
Now I've read in another thread about cURL 7.x that the program came bundled as part of Sylpheed and that the detection for this program has been removed.
This hasn't happened to my cURL7.x program bundled with Foxit Reader.

Someone else was having troubles with this program bundled with FVD Suite and after he posted the debug log you guys corrected it right away.
Is that also possible to do with my problem? or should I do something else?

Goaty,
It is highly unlikely Secunia Support will see this before Monday.

If they do not respond on Monday I would copy & paste all your thread & send it by email to:

support@secunia.com

Edit: Of course there are alternatives to Foxit Reader that you may consider looking at:

Alright, I will wait till monday & see if they have responded. Thank you for the tip, this is the first time I've posted something on the forum.

About other options than Foxit, I'm aware of that, I have tried several options before already, but my best feeling is with Foxit Reader.
If the problem can not be fixed, or if it will be difficult, then I'll reconsider another program besides Foxit Reader.

Thanks again,
Klaas

Goaty,
Will bring this to the top of the list (for now) to see if Secunia Support comment or have U contacted them by email?

Hi,

Indeed, it is possible for us to fix it very quickly.

And we did.

Sorry I didn't notice your thread right away. :)

Scan again and it should work.
