I am getting an insecure program warning from PSI directing me to install the update: 12.0.1.600. Clicking on the update/patch provided by PSI opens a Real Player download window. However, clicking the "orange" down load button in the Real Player window does not load the patch/program update. Leaving me with one insecure program and a 99% PSI score. Please help.

Thanks for the suggestion, Maurice. But, no good, same result. Clicking on FileHipppo's "Your download will begin automatically. If it doesn't click here" didn't work either. "Manual" was not given as a down load option.

My browser is Firefox. Should I use a different browser? I have Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

Success... I guess. Changed to my Google Chrome browser. Went to fileHippo and downloaded the Real Player upgrade. Got a warning, "this action can hurt your computer" message from _______? And, "Do you want to continue?" I continued. This was regarding the realplayer.exe file.

This real player download seems very heavy to me. It left a "gift" of free movies on my desktop. I don't think it changed my basic real player any...but I had to navigate past several windows requesting personal information or enrollment in subscription trial offers. I'm wondering if I really needed this upgrade to make my computer more secure. Anyway, for what it is, my Secunia Score is now 100%.

Two questions: Why was I able to download using Google Chrome but not Mozilla Firefox? Was Firefox trying to protect me from something? And, did the Real Player upgrade remove older versions of real player from my computer or do I need to go in and do that?
