what does this program actually do? It's "according to Secunia" its an outdated program, but being I am not a tech geek, if I delete it what exactly will happen to my compute and permissions for me. this is a home computer.

This might help you remember what you installed, when, and why:

Essentially, it is a DVD player. While Wikipedia says the last version, v2.60, is 4 years old, InterActual claims you can download a free update to v2.70:
