According to BleepingComputers.com, sua.exe is dangerous adware and they recommend that it be removed. Isn't this the Secunia Update Agent? It's found in my Secunia PSI folder. Any help at all will be appreicated.

Correct - it is part of Secunia PSI & is perfectly safe.

U are correct to raise the issue. Bleeping Computer is not really saying that.

It points to this:

Command:

%ProgramFiles%\180search assistant\sau.exe

Description:

Added by the Adware.180Search adware.


Your SUA is contained within the PSI folder & is safe.

That's kind of what I thought when I didn't find the path/file described, but from my limited knowledge of malware, it's not unthinkable to have a malicious program install itself in an otherwise safe program. Thanks for all your help. I'll sleep better tonight!
