I am having the same issue: Secunia shows this to be an end-of-life product. I have Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D installed: is this part of that installation, or can I safely delete it?

Is Cyberlink Power Starter5 a separate item in Control Panel>add/remove?

If so what is the install date? Is it different from your latest version 10?

If so they are not connected & U can safely uninstall the old version.

PowerStarter 5 is NOT a separate item: The only item relating to Cyberlink in the "Add/Remove" list is Power DVD 10 Ultra 3D. This is a new installation after I built a completely new PC using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Thanks,
Tim

Hi,

Can you post the troubleshoot log for the detected program?
