I'm already getting nervous :) when the PSI tray icon is turning orange from green
but since today it is red all the time although I'm 100% "green/clean" for the last weeks. I just ran another scan to no avail. Stays red but 100% green bars are shown.

I'm running Windows 7/64. PSI 2.0 (the latest)

The only thing I did yesterday was, to boot once into Windows secured mode with network since I was tracing another problem I had with Napster.

I'm puzzled.

Try opening the windows start menu and type in services. Under the services, stop both of the Secunia services. Then start them both back up. Hope it helps.

Same issue here, as well. Stopping and restarting services made no difference.

Today, after another reboot the tray icon is green again - and I did nothing peculiar other than switching off the computer when I left office yesterday night and rebooting this morning.

I tried to enter "services" into the start menu (Windows 7) and "dotfuscator" pops up.

Another way to navigate to the services menu. Go to the control panel and set the view to small icons. Click on admin tools and there you will fins services. Hope this helps.

Beercow - Your solution seems to work for me. Had another problem and the wonderful techs "improved" my system leaving me to figure out what they had done to several programs. Seem to be up and running now. Thanks for the advice.
